We meet on the first Friday of each month from 7.00 pm to 9-30 pm.
On Fridays we have a chance to make lace, have a cup of tea/coffee, discuss future plans for the club and sometimes a raffle.
A charge of £2.00 is made for the evening meetings.
On the second Saturday of each month we meet from 1.30 pm to 4.00 pm. For the less experienced lace maker and those new to lace making help is readily available from more experienced lace makers.
For the complete beginner, equipment can be loaned for a limited period and we can advise you on where supplies can be purchased. At times second-hand lacemaking equipment may be available to purchase. Inexpensive books for beginners are also available to purchase.

Beginners start off with basic Torchon lace but we can also advise on how to progress further, either independently using recommend books or with adult education classes.
Those attending regularly after two months on either Fridays or Saturdays or both are asked to join Nene Lacemakers at an annual subscription of £8.00 for adults and £4.00 for young Lacemakers (under 18). Each member receives a newsletter March, July and November.
